About the Visa Applicant
This section is to be completed with information about the person applying for an Australian Visa
Please Include Middle Names if applicable.
ERROR: Same name for SPONSOR and APPLICANT.
You cannot be the sponsor and the applicant at the same time. The SPONSOR is the Australian who invites the APPLICANT to Australia.
Please go back and correct the sponsor and applicant details.
- BE AWARE: Emails such as hotmail.com, outlook.com, live.com and optusnet.com.au have a tendency to block emails unnecessarily. If you do not get a reply, this is probably the reason why. Please email Jeff Harvie at jeff@downundervisa.com if you don't receive a response within 3 - 4 days.
Note
If you are not married to the sponsor you should be either:
-
Divorced
- Divorce pending
- Or in an established de facto relationship with the applicant
If you haven’t selected one of these options, please change your selection. If not, we cannot complete your assessment today.
You will be prompted to complete the DeFacto section of the questionnaire. Please do so.
Let us know about when and where it was commenced.
Most (ie maybe 90% of our applicants) are unemployed, and many have never had a job in their lives. There is no evidence of lack of employment leading to refusals in the majority of cases from our experience.
However: Note that in cases where they choose to refuse a tourist visa they will always mention lack of employment as reinforcement of their decision. This does not mean that the outcome would have been different had you been employed!
This is good to hear.
However: Note that in cases where they choose to refuse a tourist visa they will always say that they have considered this support (but that it does not carry significant weight) as reinforcement of their decision. This does not mean that the outcome would have been different had your situation been different!
You may continue, however unless you are wealthy it will be unlikely we can get a tourist visa grant for you as an independent applicant.

If you had a previous visa refused, email a copy of the visa refusal letter from the Embassy to Jeff Harvie at downundervisa@gmail.com
